Nicolaidis graduated from McGill University, where he completed his training in Plastic Surgery. He then specialized in Craniofacial and Cosmetic Surgery at the University of Miami and then pursued a fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine, Texas. He worked for three years in New York City as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. During this time, he was named one of America&#8217;s Top Surgeons in Plastic Surgery. As patients from across the country started coming to Montreal for explantation with Dr. Nicolaidis, Valerie took the initiative to acquire a bed and breakfast in order to accommodate these patients, along with their companions. The goal of the centre is to reduce the stress of the procedure by providing a comfortable, safe space adjacent to the clinic, where patients can benefit from a soothing environment and easy access to the clinic staff.
