Our Clinic
A place that reflects our approach
Our facilities
Located at 1455 Montcalm Street, in the heart of downtown Montreal, a stone’s throw from Beaudry metro and a few minutes walk from Berri-UQAM metro. The Contour Clinic welcomes you in a modern, bright space entirely dedicated to Esthetic Medicine and Plastic Surgery.

The Exterior
The choice of location is no coincidence.
After several years of research, Dr. Nicolaidis opted for a building in the image of his practice in a human-sized place, in the heart of the effervescence of the Village. This independent building reflects his ethical vision of Surgery: a practice centered on safety, transparency and the real interest of patients.

Discreet and comfortable accommodation
The advantages of bed and breakfast accommodation with the proximity of specialized medical care.
Fully equipped private rooms to promote a serene convalescence. Patients and their companions can stay on site, near the CHUM.

The waiting room
Designed to combine confidentiality, comfort and efficiency, our premises offer a reassuring and professional environment at every stage of your journey.
A warm waiting room, bathed in natural light, suggests a moment of calm before your consultation or minor surgery.

Minor surgeries
Each patient is listened to, respected and supported with integrity.
Minor surgeries represent various procedures performed under local anesthesia similar to the “gel” of the mouth at the dentist. This type of procedure can be performed in a clinic rather than in a formal operating room, which reduces costs for the patient.

The post-operative room
Clinique Contour embodies the balance between medical expertise, professional rigor and human attention.
Discreet and comfortable spaces for meetings and post-operative (follow-up) consultations, in a supervised and caring environment.
General anesthesia
When does Dr. Nicolaidis use general anesthesia?
Dr. Nicolaidis uses general anesthesia for all major surgeries, such as fat transfer, explantation, abdominoplasty, etc. This approach maximizes results while ensuring maximum safety. Sedation is reserved for minor procedures, when it is deemed appropriate and safe. At Contour Clinic, the priority is always the safety and well-being of patients.
Is general anesthesia dangerous?
This is a common fear, but it is often based on a misunderstanding. General anesthesia, when administered by a qualified anesthesiologist, is very safe. This specialized doctor is present throughout the procedure to ensure your comfort and monitor your vital signs at all times, while the surgeon fully concentrates on the surgery.
Why not just use sedation instead of general anesthesia?
Sedation is sometimes used in some clinics to reduce costs because it does not require the presence of an anesthesiologist. However, it carries significant risks. Too light sedation can cause pain or involuntary movements of the patient during the procedure, which compromises the quality of the result. Too much sedation can, on the other hand, interfere with the patient’s breathing. Without an anesthesiologist on site, these situations can become critical.
